Becca Higgins began her career immersed in the startup sector of DC where she learned how to build a wide range of nascent businesses and events from the ground floor. Her primary projects included new music podcast, IndieFeed (Apple #1 Podcast in 2007 & 2008, Mashable best Podcast in 2011), festival ride-sharing app RidePost, and regional music festival Funk Parade (50K attendees in 2014, 150K attendees in 2019).

In 2015, Becca moved to NYC where she spent 5 years as a talent buyer for Blue Note Entertainment Group, booking more than 2,000 live performers for Highline Ballroom (NYC), The Howard Theatre (DC), Subrosa (NYC), Blue Note Napa (CA), the Jam Cellars Ballroom (CA), Blue Note Hawaii (HI), Blue Note Rio (BR), and Sony Hall (NYC). Her bookings crossed genres from rock, pop and hip hop, to jazz, world music, comedy and live podcasts, and extended beyond her main venues into international territories, outside venues and partner festivals.

During the Covid-19 pandemic in January 2021, Becca joined the team at Rolling Stone to book and manage remote and in-person live performances and interviews for Rolling Stone on Twitch. Check out clips from the stream below!
